Adventists are people with a mission.
Everything
we do and say and believe, every aspect of our lifestyle,
every one of our core beliefs and the message of our
lives and words centers on Jesus Christ!
Jesus
came to this earth, entered into earth time, and took
a human body. He entered into our lostness and brokenness
and became one of us so that he could best understand
and communicate God's love to us. Through Jesus' death
on the Cross of Calvary the price was paid for our
rebellion against God, our sins. We experience life
shame free because of His gift. In Him we have discovered
a Brother and Friend who will never let us down and
who loves us so much He was even willing to die for
us.
Through
His Holy Spirit we are discovering that God does not
hold Himself distant and aloof, but that He wants
an intimate, never-ending, growing relationship with
us. Through His Spirit we are discovering a new life
that is better than anything we ever experienced before.
We are discovering that we no longer have to be slaves
to all that causes us so much pain -- to our inherited
and acquired weaknesses. Life suddenly has meaning.
It is truly life, not just existence.
Through
His Church, we are discovering relationships that
are authentic, real, supportive, and honest. We are
meeting people who are interested in us, not in using
us; who want the very best for us, and are there for
us in all the varied circumstances of our lives. In
short, in a world that talks a lot about love, we
are finally experiencing it.
Through
Jesus we have found a purpose for our lives. We believe
that He is returning to this earth in the very near
future to put a final end to all of the pain that
rebellion against the government of God has caused.
We are racing the clock to introduce as many people
as we possibly can to Him and His Father before that
day comes - so that they too can join Him in an eternity
of the most incredible life it is possible to imagine.
We
invite you join us in that life - now and forever!
