The Discoveryland Staff is made up of some of the best folks on earth! We are multicultural, multi-lingual, and multifaceted human beings. Discoveryland staff members are not babysitters, but educators, some with advanced degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary education. Each staff member has earned at minimum 12 credits in Early Childhood Education, which is more than what the State requires, but we feel it’s important for our teachers to know as much as they can - and to keep on learning. Discoveryland supports continuing education for all of its teachers and aides, and our director is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young People (NAEYC).  Discoveryland is part of the Adventist Childcare Network (ACCN).

The Discoveryland Steering Committee is a group of individuals from the Pleasant Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church and community who feel that it's their privilege as a part of the church community to serve our young people. Under the leadership of our director, Geri Davis, they continue to direct the positive mission of our school. Our Pacific Union Director is Christine Gillam.
