Staff is provided whether your child is at school or absent due to illness or vacations. We find it necessary to charge by the month according to the agreed upon number of days that you have requested care for your child. This is the only way we can provide quality care. No credit is given for school holidays or absenteeism of any kind. We ask all parents to pay by the month. All tuition is due on the first day of the month.

• The Discoveryland Bonus Plan

The Discoveryland Bonus Plan is a plan that benefits families. Parents who refer the child of a co-worker, neighbor, friend or relative who becomes a full-time student for at least a month are eligible for a week of free tuition at Discoveryland, or at our sister school Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy. Even if you’re not a Discoveryland or PHAA parent, feel free to refer a child anyway. Your referral benefits both our school, and any child who attends.

The Discoveryland School year is from September 1 through August 31. Completed registration forms with an annual non-refundable registration fee will be due September 1 for ALL students. Students enrolling after March 1 will be assessed 1/2 the registration fee for the remainder of the school year.

• Late Payment

Payments received after the 15th of the month will be assessed a late fee unless prior arrangements have been made.

Bank fees/tuition late fees, plus the amount of the check, will be charge to you and payable either by cash, money order or a newly issued check. After two returned NSF checks, tuition must be paid in cash or money order. Payments made on returned checks must be received by the 15th of the month or they will be assessed the tuition late fee.

Two weeks prior notice or two weeks' tuition is payable upon the child's withdrawal from this program. A notification period prior to withdrawal is NOT required if the withdrawal is requested by the school.
