Our Mission, Vision, Values and Methods

Our Mission:

Our Mission is to make disciples for Jesus Christ. It is our privilege and pleasure to proclaim God’s eternal love and His desire to save everyone, and to provide an environment where people can find salvation and experience respect, nurture, accountability, healing and spiritual growth as we support the worldwide mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Our Vision:

In harmony with the great truths of the Scriptures and God’s purpose, we see God’s wonderful plan for the reconciliation and restoration of all His creation into complete unity, friendship, and fellowship with Him.(Ephesians 1:9, 10; 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19).

Our Core Values:

To know God and Jesus Christ, Whom to know is eternal life (John 17:3).

To live and proclaim our conviction that Jesus is coming soon (1 Thess. 4:16, 17; Rev. 1:7).

To keep holy the Lord’s day, the seventh day Sabbath (Matt. 12:8; Isa. 58:13).

To be cleansed of the defilement of all sin by our sin pardoning Savior (1 John 1:7).

To share Him for He is the one who seeks and saves the lost (Luke 19:10; 1 Tim. 2:4;
     2 Cor. 5:18, 19).

To build faith in God; faith is the victory that overcomes the world (1 John 5:4, 5).

To love one another as Christ loves us in personal relationships of integrity, nurture, and accountability (John 13:34, 35).

To live the unity with one another that Jesus prayed for in tangible, visible, and concrete ways (John 17:20, 21).

To be loyal and obedient to our Lord and Savior (John 14:15).

To accept the Bible as God’s inspired Word, our only rule of faith and practice (2 Peter 1:20, 21; Isa. 8:20).

To encourage daily communion with God through prayer and Bible study (Acts 17:11).

To receive the promised Holy Spirit (John 14:15-18).

We pursue this mission and these values under the guidance of the Holy Spirit through:

WORSHIP-- Prayerfully conceived and planned in integrity creates an environment where God is free to reveal His person, His presence, His plans, and His power.

RELATIONSHIPS-- Christ’s example and teaching encourages love, forgiveness, acceptance, and
accountability. Also, His teaching provides the knowledge, support, and understanding necessary to form strong earthly relationships that will last throughout eternity.

PREACHING-- Worship hour messages are to be Christ centered, Spirit filled, and Bible based and practical.
.

COMMUNITY SERVICES-- This ministry reaches out to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our church and community (Matthew 25:40).

EDUCATION-- Scriptural truths are used to invigorate a growing relationship with God (Proverbs 9:9;
Acts 21:28; 2 Peter 3:18).

HEALTH MINISTRY-- Well-being and wholeness are promoted through laws designed by our Creator
(Exodus 15:26; John 10:10).
